Who We Are

East of England Paddlesports started out life as a Facebook group in 2017 and has quickly grown into a community of like-minded outdoor enthusiasts.

This website is an evolution of the much-loved group, designed to offer members even more value and choice.

We hope the Facebook group continues to be a place for members to easily contact each other, post events in their local area, have discussions and offer recommendations.

If you have any ideas to help further develop the club please contact us.

Jess Ashley

Having grown up next to the sea in Canada, there is no surprise Jess is into all things water! Jess is a wild swimmer, sailor, marine medic and started paddleboarding in 2019. You can regularly find her in or on the seas and rivers when she’s not working as a vet nurse. Jess will help with Instagram and events, along with daily admin duties! Be sure to say hi if you see her out.

Matt Payne

Growing up in Poole with a family of water lovers, it was inevitable Matt would end up on the water! Kayaking was first, then he found Paddleboarding in 2020. Matt moved to Essex and joined ‘EOEPS’ where he very quickly became an active presence within the group, to even helping the team run events and socials. Matt will help with all things I.T and the daily running of the group and future events! Be sure to say hi when you see him out on the water!
